Fire Warden/Marshal Training

There is a legal requirement on all employers to prepare a Fire Safety Emergency Plan. Fire wardens or marshals are designated the responsibility of executing the Fire Safety Emergency Plan in the event of a fire emergency.

This course aims to inform the designated Fire Warden/Marshal of their responsibilities relating to fire safety along with the skills and knowledge to enable them to act responsibly and safely in an emergency.

Course Content:

  • Fire Regulations & Precautions
  • Action on discovering a fire
  • Fire Safety plans
  • The role of the fire marshal
  • Emergency procedures (pre & post emergency)
  • Compartmentation
  • Evacuation and escape

Duration: 3.5 hour course.

Certification: A Wright Safety Services Certificate of Attendance, valid for two years. Refresher Training will be required thereafter.

Participants: Maximum 12 per course.
