Our VDU Assessment (or Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Workstation Assessment) enables employers to meet their legal requirement under The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work, (General Application) Regulations 2007 Part 2 Chapter 5, Display Screen Equipment.
Under this legislation employers are required to evaluate health and safety at workstations with particular reference to eyesight, physical difficulties and mental stress. Steps must be taken to control any risks identified. An analysis of individual workstations is required. The results of the workstation analysis must be shared with employees and a written record must be kept of the analysis of the workstation.
The assessment must be undertaken by a competent person with the necessary skills, training and experience to undertake the task. Assessment details:

Recommendations and analysis of actions taken during the assessment Analysis of environmental conditions: Lighting, Temperature, Noise and Humidity
