Safety Statement

Having a site-specific or task-specific Safety Statement has been a legal requirement for all businesses since the introduction of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act in 1989. The Safety Statement is a business’s programme in writing for ensuring the Safety, Health and Welfareof employees and others who may be involved in the business such as contractors, visitors and suppliers.

We provide a personal service whereby a qualified safety consultant will visit your premises to undertake an analysis of the business’s operations and activities. The site visit will ensure that potential hazards are identified and appropriate control measures are specified.

We will then prepare a comprehensive Safety Statement which is designed to a), meet your legal requirements and b), set out how Health & Safety in your business is managed and controlled. Additionally, we will undertake an annual review and update the Safety Statement as required by law.
